The reason why God gave us eyes, ears, mouth and hands is to be able to see what is happening around us, to be able to hear what the people is yearning, to be able to speak up in times of need and to be able to give a helping hand when others have none… Last week I read the post of Reyna Elena about the Sagip Maldito Drive which intends to help the victims of typhoon Frank. As you know, Maldito is one of my blog friends in WPP and his home province Iloilo was the center of the wrath of the menacing typhoon Frank. This is my way of responding and helping to spread the word around, of the dire situation of our kababayans not only in Iloilo but also throughout the country that was devastated by the tropical storm. It’s delayed actually but sabi nga nila huli man daw at magaling POGI pa rin. Been busy from a lot of things but I still found time to make this special post. I prepared a Music Video in tribute to the victims of Typhoon Frank and the infamous maritime tragedy of Sulpicio lines. As I browsed the photos of the aftermath of the typhoon, I was stupefied. The photos speak for themselves and it made a powerful impact on my hardened heart. As What a Malacanang Exec said when he saw the bodies of the victims “it was a horrendous sight. I can’t sleep for several nights…”. Watch this bluepanjeet music video after the jump, which I made from the disturbing photos captured during and after the storm, including exclusive snap shots of the M/V Princess of the Stars tragedy rescue operations. I was shopping for groceries yesterday when I passed by the sugar aisle. While looking for the right kind of sugar, I heard a mother and a daughter arguing over the kind of sugar they should buy. The Mother insisted that they should go for the brown sugar so that they can save money. Obviously brown sugar is cheaper than the white sugar. But the daughter argued that the whiter the sugar, the better it is for their health, thus she reasoned out that they should buy the whitest sugar in the aisle. I butt-in (sorry I cannot help it) and said the daughter was right. I told the two women that instead of looking for the whitest sugar in the sugar aisle, they should look for the word “Icumsa 45” instead on the labels. Icumsa 45 is a standard made by International Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis to connote the highest and safest standard of sugar. Icumsa 45 is healthy because the refining process that it goes removes and eradicates bacteria, impurities and contaminants, which are always present in raw sugars that can be detrimental to one’s health. Therefore, the ending is that the mother and daughter finally decided to buy an Icumsa 45 Sugar.

I watched this commercial on youtube about a certain man who stepped inside the bullet announcing to the passengers that he is so desperate for love and affection that he is willing to date his destiny whoever will step outside the train in the next station. Without hesitation, this woman went out of the bullet and excitedly awaited the man to follow him. But as the door of the bullet closes, the man shouted to the woman “I’m sorry, we were just having a public play”. The woman was left on the station, humiliated and crushed by the incident. How many of us are really looking for our partners and destiny that we sometimes fall for the most absurd dating proposals known to man. Read the rest

I was waiting for my cousins to arrive in a certain coffee house for our group bonding when I heard conversations at my back. Three men were talking about diet and weight loss. Well I have no intention to eavesdrop and I’m a person who minds his own business but i can’t help but listen to their conversation because they wer speaking loud enough for me to hear what they were talking about. it seems that the two slim guys were giving advice to their very fat friend on how to lose some weight (hmmm I should talk). Well the guy goes on like this:
Slim 1: …My Wife was asked me to lose weight so I did
Slim 2: Yeah me too, Jenny (my wife) told me that she’s very uncomfortable with my weight that’s why I was forced to take on diet regimens Read the rest

Do you know that there is a school offering courses for Real Estate degree and further education? I didn’t realize till now that such course exist. In all honesty, I thought being a real estate agent or investor is an instinctual drive wherein you do the business by means of hands-on experience and not so much on the premises of classrooms or in the bowels of textbooks. I was so wrong. At first, I thought one should be employed, as an entry-level real estate agent then in the process becomes a well-respected real estate agent or investor. But then again I only stand corrected when I become aware of schools offering courses for students or professionals who want to pursue a long-term career in Real estate. Read the rest

In 2006 I lost some of my most important digital files in my computer because the memory card was fried after I downloaded a very big file. Mostly computers crash because of memory issue. Our computers run smoothly if our computer’s memory card is upgraded and updated. The best way in upgrading your computer is by upgrading the disc space and memory (known to some as RAM or Random Access Memory). It is the most cost-effective way of upgrading computers these days without having the trouble of replacing your entire pc or laptop for a new one. It can save you hundreds of dollars and can keep your computer running for years or so. Read the rest

Maintaining a website is not an easy task I tell you. It needs dedication, commitment, responsibility and creativity. Before, I thought creating a website will be a punch on the moon, but because of man’s innovation, ordinary people like me can create different websites at my own will. But you see, when you start a website and readers begin to flock it, there is a need for you to update regularly. It’s simple economics really: the more the demand, the more the supply should be. In our case as website and blog owners, we should always cater to the changing landscape of our internet experience in lieu of our websites. Not all writers and bloggers are web developers, and in the same vein, not all web developers are creative writers. You need to be both in order to become feasible and successful in this very competitive cyber world. But what if you are not? Read the rest
