What happens when your loved ones are arrested?

Many people does not have any clue on what is happening when their loved ones are arrested that is why I wrote a brief answer to that very common question. When your loved ones are arrested, a police officer documents the crime by making a report. The report includes statements of the available witnesses, background check on the suspect and investigates further before submitting the report to the investigating officer. The authorities then submit the document to the District Attorneys’ Office where a prosecutor will review the case if the criminal charge is warranted. The prosecutor has the power to reject the charge if they see no merit in it. When the charges are filed, then it will be processed in the court through an Arraignment. During that period of time when the charges are being reviewed, the defendant can be bailed out or stay in custody of the Authorities. The defendant has all the right to be arraigned in court within two business days. Know your rights. consult your Los Angeles Criminal Attorneys | California DUI Felony Misdemeanor Lawyers
