To be or not to be
By bluepanjeet on Mar 13, 2008 in *Ideas Meets Improvements

It is hard to make decisions in life, especially if you are the kind of person who knows how to tip the scale in favor of what benefits man the most. My blogging experience this year has been tremendous, meeting new friends, learning from day to day conversation, and improving the virtue of service to those people who are in need. For the past 10 months, I have been to every highs and lows here in the commercial blogosphere. Sometimes there are moments of joy, other times there are flickers of sadness. Nevertheless, like the pages of our own diary, the life of a blogger must go on and continue the journey that was started. Today I am faced again with another challenge, the question of “to be or not to be”.
Many of you know that most of my friends here in the blogosphere have actual careers as professional bloggers. Since last year, I have been invited by them to join the bandwagon, but I always decline because I never saw the need to become one, since my priority and goal was focused in another direction. But lately, as opportunity to help others flooded the doorstep of my generous heart, the thought of this particular question haunted me: “You cannot give what you do not have”. The axiom is true.
I have told my friends that if ever the time comes that I have made up my mind; I will surely go for it. In addition, as you are now reading this, I have made my decision. I will become a professional blogger!
Maybe you are wondering why I have to blog professionally wherein I can just blog passionately. Most of you might think that the sole reason of pro-blogging is the remuneration that comes with it. It depends on the blogger. Me, I wanted to grow, not just inside my own shell but also out of the greater atmosphere of the world of opportunity. I had let go of so many opportunities in my life in the past, thinking that staying safe in my comfort zone would be better than to tread the path of risk taking. But I was wrong. Opportunity knocks only once.
The opportunity that I am talking about is just right on our “blog” doorstep called payperpost wherein anyone who has a qualified blog can earn as much as hundred dollars depending on your rank and performance as a blogger. You have the chance to blog and at the same time, earn a decent living for yourself and for your loved ones. The company compensates you fairly and amazingly higher than what others offer. So why settle for less, choose the other way around. Sign up now, join the program, ride the bandwagon, be a professional blogger and get paid to blog

Hello miss misyel. you really have to discern well kasi my downside din ang pro-blogging. as much as possible whenever I write a ka pepe i still inkject reflections and valuable lessons para dimawala ang theme at mission ko dito sa blog ko. isa yan sa pinakamahirap i maintain kasi kailanagn talagamag isip lalo na kung yung ieendorse mo na company eh talagang suntok sa buwan at unrelated. I think thats what challenges me in this kind of blogging. Kailangan alisto sa mga isusulat at hindi lang basta pagpropromote ng kumpanya. someday you’ll be one of us haha. pero if ever I have I choice, I wouldnt want this kind of blogging, masyado pressured. kung di ko lang kailangan mag extend ng help sa charitable isntitutions na sinusuportahan ko at magwish na makabili ng digicam naku di ko to talaga papasukin. nakakatuyo ng utak. temporary lang to. Im really planning to quit someday.

I can never be a professional blogger. After all these years, I’m still enjoying the “what’s up and what’s down”, “what’s new and whatnot” on my blog. I think personal blogging is more easier than being professional. The internet world is huge and I choose not to be in a big circle. Ok na yung I post photos, share my thoughts, and just become idle once in a while. No pressure there.
I suggest, keep what you love doing - change is good but sometimes if you look at the big picture, there’s nothing else to change, just continue being positive and enjoy blogging.
When money is involve in blogging, I should have done it a long time ago and stop working. See, I had one paid post (introductory) at hindi na nasundan, yoko na (display na lang yung logo).
Goodluck.

Hi kuya K! I totally agree kapatid. Before I really get excited in writing a new entry pero ngayon, iisipin ko pa lang yung dami ng mga required posts na dapat kung isulat, naku parang tinatamad na ako. Pero the lighter side of this is di naman ito permanent kasi I hate sitting in front of the PC 24/7. gusto ko may variation ang buhay ko. I do not want my blog to exists for years na puro condom, viagra, insurance at casino ang laman ng mga pinagsasasabi ko dito. di ko pa nga nakakausap mga ka seminarians at mga pari at madre na readers ko dito dahil busy sila at lent. pero pag nabasa nila ito naku sasapukin ako ng mga yun.
I still believe in the quality of posts ng mga non-pro blogs. actually may mga pro-bloggers na inihihiwalay na nila yung personal blogs nila sa pro-blogging kasi nga eto ang nakikita nila na downside and they are actually advising me to do the same. as of this moment di pa pwede eh kasi i really have no resources yet for a new server and a new domain name. darating din siguro ako dun.
the people I envy today, are those who blog just for fun and passion. nakaka 3 days pa lang ako dito kuya kay ka pepe pero I miss already my monster posts at mga mala-thesis ko na research. hayyy.
pero after all of this is over, naku ctrl + shift + delete delete lahat ng ka pepe sa baul ko haha happy wekend kapatid.
