Noel Almighty!

Hail the demigod almighty of blogs! Pareng KK or Kotsengkuba, if you are not tired of writing his long handle, is a self progclaimed deity of the blogosphere. His writing abilities and intellectual prowess have no equivalent in mere mortals like us. I met Pareng KK at the Castle of the Queen where some of us are actually strangers with each other. Like him I never bothered visiting his site maybe because I have tons of workload between me and myself (haha). But then again when he first commented on my site, I thought “Aba, di pala suplado ang mokong sa totoong buhay” haha. But the first instance that I noticed this guy was when he lambasted a contestant on the logo contest for claiming that she is the heiress of the kingdom. That was the time that I said, yeah I’m going to have fun with this guy around (we have the same double edged tongues haha). But as time goes by, like many others who trodden the blogosphere, we befriended KK and became one of our staunchest allies that he even gate-crashed on a certain hypocritical blog just to defend me and some of those who were destined to be forever controversial. LOL
KK’s (sorry, i get tired of typing his very long handle) brain is actually swollen with creativity and resourcefulness in a sense that this guy has so many ideas in mind that one might wonder how he is able to juggle both work and blogging all at the same time. This guy will run for the Guinness book of world records for being the only man on earth to create and manage so many blogs (haha). I asked him what blogs of his would I include here but he modestly requested to feature only his three blogs. The other blogs are for his divine works haha. KK is also my online manual. Whenever some java and html issues arise from my limited comprehension, he is quick as a thunderbolt in answering my queries. Actually his versatility is not only vacuumed on web development chenes because he can write recipes, write tutorials, write open letters of sorts and yes my beloved readers, he can also profoundly and delicately take a picture of himself in full emotion complete with flowers haha.
KK has been in China for sometime now and is working there as an OFW. His blog is actually about his journey, life and sometimes travesties in the land of the yellow races. He documents in his blog every itsy bitsy deatails of his life under the iron curtain of the chopstick fanatics. KK has a better half, known in the blogosphere as Antipatika of Antipatika.Net. Their conjugal tandem (yes chickababes, he is already married) made the blogosphere even more interesting since Antipatika actually compliments the other side of KK as being a husband and a Father through her blog. Now with the blessing of the gods, goddesses and deities of the blog world, KK will be unstoppable in conquering the blogosphere. With his wit and talent in writing, his no-nonsense opinion, and CIA like mode of operation whenit comes to Pepeng Agimat, it wouldn’t be impossible nor far-fetched that someday he will run for President in China, abolishing the great firewall that hinders youtube, blogspot, wordpress and all other networking sites that kept him from viewing and reading some of the most interested posts of OTWOMD. Noel, aka Kotsengkuba, a very good friend, a bosom buddy and a hopia wonder maker rolled into one unique kind of dimsum. Kikiam everyone?

ABOUT NOEL’S BLOGSSSSSS!!! (my emphasis LOL)
Name/screen name/blog handle
Kotsengkuba, KK, Noel Cabacungan
Tell us a little bit of history of your blog and blogging… when did it start, how and why?
I started blogging because for the longest period of my pathetic-now-semi-charmed life, I have been a lurker of every online journals in the quasi-universe known to men as cyberspace.
Inspired with how many people play with their words to come up with a pretty decent story, I began blogging myself at a time when friendster was a great hit, but then I deleted my friendster account. Then came multiply, where I made a few posts. And in between the two, I have succesfully asp based website running on free web hosts (e.g. brinkster and websamba) where I came up with a decent photo gallery and journal combined (and now deleted). On the last days of July 2007, I came into a Maryland based blogger in the name of Ate Sienna who introduced me to wordpress. On August 5 of that same year, I made my first post on a free blog account kotsengkuba.wordpress.com (now abandoned). I got bored with the limited templates from that free blogging site so I decided to go self-hosting. On August 24, 2007 Kotsengkuba.com was launched.
Tell us about the main theme (not the design) of your blog, what mostly do you blog and why did you decide to have that kind of theme (niche).
Chronicles of Kotsengkuba is not a travelogue. It is a merely a journal of my personal accounts, experiences and observations in my surrounding niche. Right now I’m in China so it is only proper that the blog express my thoughts about the Chinese people, their culture and other antics. If my blog is a book, it will be subtitled as “Laughing at My Ignorance in the Hopia Wonderland.” If asked to represent China with an object, moon cake will be a perfect representation. As moon cakes are known to the outside world as the mere rounded flat cake, the unknown multitude of other varieties reflects the multi-cultural aspects of this big country.
Digital Kotsengkuba is a photoblog for I am a photographer at heart but paralyzed with the lack of proper equipments.
Spokening Peso (Not Spokening Dollar) is my world of ramdomness from my simple childish memories to adultered and unadulterated antics. This is my breathing place, where I express my inner self in my mother tongue better know as tongue ng ina ko.
Serial Blogger is another ramdomness, though starting February, it will be the lair for simplified html chorva and adobong photoshop tutorials. It will later on be subtitled “Web, Simplified”
Where do you mostly blog (home or work) and how much time do you spent in blogging
Generally I blog at home. Though during idle office hours, I do drafts and sometimes publish my entries. I also bloghop in between home and office hours.
What do you mostly get in blogging (either finanacial or personal fulfillment).
Blogging itself is not fulfilling. The conversations that follows is. It magnifies your existence in the two known universes called the universe (per se) and cyberspace.
How does your blog help you in your everyday life, maturity as a person and human being.
Where I am, I am a forced loner. There’s not so much to give you the right company. Blogging is the next best things to being with actual people. You meet a lot of personalities which someway became an integral part of what you become each passing day.
What are the things you need to learn or improve in your blog habit.
Right now, I don’t know a lot of Pinoy bloggers but I know there are a lot more waiting to be met. I will be improving on this in the coming days.
ABOUT OTWOMD
When and where did you find out OTWOMD?
When I started hanging around at Reyna Elena.com, there was this gay-sounding handle (name) I noticed. bluepanjeet | OTWOMD. I thought OTWOMD is something about a man’s womb or something. I never checked the URL that comes with the handler. (Ed’s note: Nyahaha ginawa mo pa pare ako na badingerzi. Juice ko di tayo talo haha)
What is your first impression of OTWOMD?
When I first visited the site, I left after a few seconds because the page is more likely to take the whole life cycle of a frog to load. All I can see is a bat flapping as a favicon. Later again, I noticed the handler as a finalist for reynaelena’s OFW logo/slogan contest. His entries are too interesting so I went back to the site and wait patiently for the entire page to load (I am usually paid to wait that long) then I saw what the acronym OTWOMD meant, On The Wings of My Dreams. (Ed’s note: Hindi paniki yun, agila yun haha)
When did you start to comment on OTWOMD? is it awkward to comment at first? if yes, why?
If my memory is correct, I first commented on the post explaining his entries’ meaning. It wasn’t awkward and I really liked his logo designs and the explanations were perfect all the same.
What is the reason why you like/love reading OTWOMD?
Usually I will visit his site for the music spree. Next is his opinionated posts. Third is the multi-themed conversations that follows each post.
What is your most favorite part/section/feature of OTWOMD?
Refer to number 3. I’m vying to be recognized as an intellectual right-brainer.
What makes you comeback to OTWOMD?
The music, the opinionated posts and the multi-colored conversations.
What particular post/entry that struck you/memorable for you and why?
Refer to number 3 and allow me to elaborate a little. His logo is on it’s own unique and stylish. But the way he elaborated on the meaning of each element comprising the logo is enough to make me categorize him into one of those few intellectual right-brainers in all the known and unknown universe.
If bluepanjeet would be a plant, animal, or things, what would he be for you and why?.
I remembered a video in his 100th post. It featured people playing in the rain. If he would be another of God’s creations, I wanted him to be the rain. Though I prefer to get soaked in the rain when I need to hide my emotions, I see the rain as a mixture of a thousand expressions. Just like him, a multitude of personalities. Like a dozen donuts packed in a single box. Comic, dramatic, lunatic, angelic and so on and so forth.
Lastly, if you can sum up OTWOMD in one sentence, what would it be?
OTWOMD is like a box of donuts, you know there are a lot inside but you always the one flavor that perfectly fits your taste buds.
Do you still have dreams to fulfill? if you do, what is/are your greatest dream/s?
Aside from the dream to be universally recognized as an intellectual right-brainer, I want to give all of my families the best of today and a better tomorrow.

I’ve heard a lot of KK in Reyna’s site. Reading how he replied to your queries made me smile especially when he said your page takes a “whole life cycle of a frog to load” because it was my same experience.
It was really worth waiting for your page to load
Your site is awesome!
